On his deathbed in 1948, Charles Fillmore, co-founder of Unity, had a vision of the New Jerusalem descending to earth (see below). Beginning this week and for the rest of this year, we will experience the descent of our I Am or Christ or high Self, the overshadowing and pouring forth of our light or electric or resurrected body. Throughout 2007, we will envision heavenly health, holiness and harmony for one and for all. What Charles Fillmore foresaw will manifest in our lives and all around the globe. What we see, will be.

What is heaven? It is I Am consciousness, our spiritual essence, the eternal good or the Christ within and around us. Where is heaven? Right here, right now, whenever we love God and we love one another. As we rest in the peace of our I Am Self, we experience a new heaven on a new earth, the descent of the New Jerusalem or I Am Nation, the flowering of our innate twelve spiritual powers: faith, strength, love, wisdom and others.

How do we enter heaven? By envisioning and creating a healing haven into which our high Self can descend and dwell. Go into meditation now. Be in a safe, secure, quiet, peaceful place, a haven where you surround yourself in a cocoon of Christ light. Once you are immersed in the stillness of this protective force field, visualize a large etheric letter H descending from above. It comes down slowly, smoothly and easily, and anchors over and around you. Feel it. Welcome it. Bask in it. It is a healing balm to your whole being, especially to whatever part of you that may be out of harmony.

See one of the vertical poles of the H as being to the right of you, about two-to-three away from your physical body. The bottom of this pole anchors solidly into the earth. This right-sided pole correlates with your conscious mind, which symbolically relates to your right side. This is your male polarity, the active aspect of your consciousness, your ability to analyze, organize, discern and compute. As you focus on this pole, you sense your conscious thoughts being aligned with divine, cosmic truths.

Imagine the second vertical pole of the light-filled letter H as being to your left side, at about the edge of your auric field that extends a couple feet or so from your physical body. This left pole anchors securely into the ground and encompasses your subconscious mind, including your soul memories and your feeling nature. This is the feminine or passive polarity within you, your left-sided aspect, your intuitive nature via which you now come into close communion with your Christ Self.

To complete the grounding of the H, see its horizontal pole of light passing through you from side to side. Perhaps this bar of Christ energy flows through your crown chakra and pineal gland where faithfully you connect with your I Am Self. Maybe the horizontal crossbar passes through your third-eye chakra and pituitary gland, the so-called master gland that along with all the other endocrine glands expresses the power of wisdom-justice-judgment. Perhaps the intersecting horizontal bar passes through your heart chakra and thymus gland, crossing out any past heartache and infusing you with a balanced blend of wisdom and love.

With the H around and through you, gradually absorb it into your being. Take in its harmonious energy. Resonate with the vibration of your high Self and light body. In New Jerusalem consciousness, you are healed and you are a healer. You are in heaven in 2007!
